These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website kflidiomas.com.br and the English-language teaching services offered by KF Leva Idiomas (“KFL Idiomas,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), registered under CNPJ No. 26.185.765/0001-37, based in Americana, São Paulo, Brazil. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Our Services
KFL Idiomas provides personalized, live online English classes for adult learners, including private classes, Business English, exam preparation (Cambridge and similar), and group classes. All classes are delivered live and synchronously. Class content and plans are tailored to each student following an initial assessment.
3. Free Assessment and Enrollment
New students may request a free assessment to determine their level, goals, and suitable class format. Enrollment is confirmed once the student and KFL Idiomas agree on a class plan, schedule, and payment terms. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services at our discretion.
4. Minimum Commitment
Our classes require a minimum commitment of six (6) months to ensure meaningful and measurable progress. Students may choose the weekly frequency of their classes (for example, once, twice, or three times per week) as agreed at enrollment.
5. Payments
Class fees, payment methods, and billing cycles are agreed at the time of enrollment. Fees must be paid by the dates agreed. Late or missed payments may result in the suspension of classes until the account is brought up to date.
6. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
Classes are scheduled by mutual agreement. Requests to reschedule or cancel an individual class should be made with reasonable advance notice, as agreed between the student and teacher. Classes cancelled without adequate notice may be considered as given. Specific rescheduling and cancellation rules will be communicated at enrollment.
7. Refunds
Because our services are personalized and reserved specifically for each student, fees already paid for classes delivered are non-refundable. Any refund of prepaid amounts for classes not yet delivered will follow the terms agreed at enrollment and applicable Brazilian consumer law.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and all teaching materials provided during classes — including texts, exercises, recordings, images, logos, and methodology — are the property of KFL Idiomas or used with permission, and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use these materials for your personal learning only. You may not copy, distribute, resell, or publish them without our prior written permission.
9. Student Conduct
Students agree to attend classes punctually, treat the teacher with respect, and use our services lawfully. We reserve the right to discontinue services, without refund of amounts owed for classes delivered, in cases of abusive, disrespectful, or unlawful behavior.
10. Third-Party Links and Tools
Our website and classes may reference or use third-party tools (such as video-conferencing platforms) and links. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of third-party services.
11. Limitation of Liability
We are committed to delivering high-quality teaching. However, language-learning outcomes depend on each student’s effort, practice, and engagement. We do not guarantee specific results, exam scores, or certifications. To the extent permitted by law, KFL Idiomas is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.
12. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process personal data (including cookies) in accordance with the LGPD (Federal Law 13.709/2018).
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will take effect upon publication on our website, with the “last updated” date revised accordingly. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the courts of the Comarca of Americana, State of São Paulo, unless applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
